Publisher Poncle and developer Doonutsaur have unveiled the release of “Kill the Brickman,” a turn-based roguelike brick breaker that draws inspiration from classic arcade frenzy. Currently, it can be purchased for $4.99 / £3.99 / €4.99 on Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC through Steam and Microsoft Store.
Under the developer poncle, “Brickman’s Demise” is the second game publication following the release of “Berserk or Die” on June 8.
In a press statement, Doonutsaur’s Alvin expressed his desire to make “Kill the Brickman” uniquely distinctive among outstanding deckbuilding games. He was impressed that Poncle matched his eccentric style and even helped elevate the game’s absurdity to new heights!
As a gaming enthusiast, let me share my thoughts on “Kill the Brickman”. This isn’t just an exceptional deckbuilder; it’s unlike anything I’ve ever encountered in my gaming journey. Unusual? Absolutely! But that’s precisely what makes it so intriguing and enjoyable.

About
In “Kill the Brickman,” embark on a thrilling, turn-based adventure that blends roguelike mechanics with brick breaker gameplay, inspired by classic arcade chaos. The Brickmen have taken over the world (Uh oh, it’s the Brickmen!), and it’s up to you to arm yourself and fight your way to safety. Craft your own bullet-firing arsenals by assembling relics, clip configurations, and strange bullets that detonate, corrode, and multiply. Each playthrough offers a fresh challenge. Every loadout is a puzzle to solve. Every bullet serves as a tool for demolishing bricks (Now’s the time to show them who’s boss!).
- Classic Brick-Break Arcade Action – Shoot, smash, repeat.
- Roguelike Deck-Building Strategy – Collect, combine, and deploy absurdly overpowered bullets to (try to) outsmart us.
- Brick-Based Ridiculousness – We’re everywhere. We are legion. We are not compliant with regulatory safety standards.
In this game, you’ll navigate through multiple chapters filled with challenging adversaries, including more than a dozen elite enemies and ten formidable bosses. Along the way, discover combinations that transform your simple peashooter into an extraordinary weapon capable of galaxy-shaking power. Think of it as Tetris, but the blocks are hostile and have a taste for human flesh. The game offers numerous relics and building options, delving far beyond just aiming and firing; it requires strategy, adaptability, and smart decision-making to outsmart your opponents. It’s not just about bricks anymore, it’s about brains: brick-brain can wait!
