Celia Daniels and Ray Walters are causing trouble again in Emmerdale. They recently threatened the Dingle and Goskirk families and seriously injured Dylan Penders, leaving him in a coma.
April Windsor (played by Amelia Flanagan) recently told her parents, Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry), about the difficult time she’s been going through.
Before anyone could come up with a plan, Celia unexpectedly entered Smithy Cottage and threatened terrible consequences if they didn’t stay quiet – including arson, car accidents, and even violence against people.
She then grabbed Rhona by the face, digging her fingernails into her cheeks.

Today, Marlon realized the only way out of this mess was to go to the police. It took some convincing, but I’m glad April finally agreed to help him. We all think it’s the right thing to do.
During the interview, the teenager started reliving the disturbing images she’d had of Marlon being killed by Ray, and became overwhelmed by the experience.
As a critic, I have to say the latest development in this case is frustrating. The investigating officer just delivered a tough blow: they don’t have enough concrete evidence to even bring the suspects in for questioning. And even if they did manage to detain them, she admitted they’d have to let them go before they could gather enough proof to hold them. It’s a real setback, and honestly, leaves you wondering if they’ll ever get anywhere with this investigation.

Returning home, the father and daughter were stunned to discover Ray holding Rhona captive. Ray had investigated Rhona’s past, learning about the sexual and physical abuse she’d suffered at the hands of her former husband, Pierce Harris.
Repeatedly mentioning his name and the situation deeply upset her, and he seemed to want to dominate the family dynamics.
After he departed, Marlon realized their only chance to regain control and escape their situation was to slip away from the village unnoticed.
Will the family go through with the plan?
