Twitch Streamer Fandy Gives Birth to Her Baby While Live

Fandy was away from her computer during her latest Twitch stream.

The gamer, who typically streams games like *World of Warcraft* and *League of Legends* for her audience, surprised everyone on October 7th by giving birth to her daughter, Luna, live on stream in her living room.

Cady, known as Fandy online, excitedly shared on X (formerly Twitter) that her water had broken and she was likely going into labor. She added a simple message: “Baby time :)”

The streamer shared her eight-and-a-half-hour labor live on Twitch, with her husband, Adam, midwife, and friends present. For almost seven hours, she tried different positions to manage her increasingly strong contractions.

After a labor of eight hours, the 32-year-old woman gave birth to her and Adam’s first child at home, using a small inflatable pool.

Twitch CEO Dan Clancy was among the 50,000 people watching the stream and sent a congratulatory message. According to The Verge, he wrote in the live chat, “Fandy. Best of luck and congratulations. Wishing you the best in this journey.”

After their baby girl arrived, the couple thanked everyone for their continued support.

Adam said, with Fandy cradling baby Luna, “What an incredible experience! I really appreciate all the girls being here and helping out. It truly took a team to make this happen. Cady did a lot of the heavy lifting, but everyone pitched in.”

After sharing her pregnancy announcement on her stream in April, Fandy kept her fans updated, including details about her labor and delivery.

She recently explained that being in her third trimester was physically demanding, making it more difficult for her to stream.

She explained on X (formerly Twitter) in August that she hasn’t been streaming much recently because her third trimester has been really difficult. She’s dealing with a lot of back and pelvic pain, plus Braxton Hicks contractions, and is also very tired. She feels like she’s trying to live life while constantly feeling sick and unwell, but she’s doing her best.

Although it wasn’t easy, she confirmed that she was “healthy, just uncomfy.”

Despite everything, Fandy is overjoyed about her new baby. She shared her excitement on X, jokingly saying she can’t wait to have a ‘mini me’ to share the world with.
