Pedro Pascal has had an incredibly busy year, quickly becoming one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood. He’s been juggling projects across both film and television, appearing in a variety of roles. This summer alone, he starred in two very different blockbuster movies. The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel’s biggest film of the year, recently became available to stream on Disney+. And just two days ago, HBO Max added his other summer hit to its lineup.
Celine Song’s romantic comedy, The Materialists, was a surprisingly successful film for A24 earlier this year, earning $108 million despite only costing $20 million to make. Now, the film is available to stream on HBO Max, as part of an ongoing agreement between A24 and the streaming service.
If you haven’t heard of it, The Materialists is a romantic comedy starring Dakota Johnson as a successful matchmaker who unexpectedly finds herself in a love triangle. She begins a relationship with a handsome, rich man, right when her ex-boyfriend unexpectedly reappears.
Two of Pedro Pascal’s recent hit movies are now available to stream, with another one coming soon. His film with Joaquin Phoenix, Eddington, directed by Ari Aster, will be on HBO Max next week.
