The New Game+ Showcase begins soon, and will feature 45 games.
The show will mainly feature updates on games that have already been announced, rather than revealing entirely new titles. However, several major game publishers and studios will be present, as shown in the image here.
The showcase will feature appearances from major companies including Ubisoft, THQ Nordic, Bandai Namco, Don’t Nod, NetEase, and Xbox.

The new year 2026 has barely begun, but a video game showcase is already scheduled for this week.
The inaugural New Game+ Showcase is happening this week, on 8th January 2026:
As the recent announcement explained, this new show, created by streamers and content creators, will feature 45 different games.
We’re not sure what this show is about, but it seems like it will work on any device, so PlayStation 5 owners might enjoy it.
The only hint we have about the upcoming showcase is that Don’t Nod seems to be involved, as they shared the announcement. It’s currently unknown whether they’re hinting at more details about their game Aphelion, or if they’re planning to reveal something completely different.

- North America: 1pm PST / 2pm MST / 3pm CST / 4pm EST
- UK/Ire: 9pm GMT
- Europe: 10pm CET / 11pm EET
- Asia/Oceania: 6am (Fri) JST / 5am (Fri) AWST / 8am (Fri) AEDT
