Unreleased Power Rangers Series Reveals Footage and Key Details (Including Surprise Dino Fury Connection)

The latest era of Power Rangers on Netflix concluded with Power Rangers Dino Fury (season two), Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, and the 30th Anniversary special, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always. Fans have been eager to find out what’s next for the live-action series, but a completed Power Rangers project has remained unreleased. Now, an actor from that project has shared a behind-the-scenes video revealing footage and details, including a surprising link and storyline connection to Dino Fury.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the final chapter of the popular web series Ninja Kidz, which first launched in 2017 on the Ninja Kidz TV YouTube channel. While the finale was announced to be coming earlier this year, it hasn’t been released yet. However, Bryton Myler, the actor who plays Bulk, recently shared a new YouTube video with exciting footage and story details that surprisingly connect the series to Dino Fury.

The episode picks up right after the last one, with Rita Repulsa (as the Green Ranger) warning the Rangers that Lord Zedd is coming. She teleports them—and accidentally Bulk—to find the Dino Fury Rangers for help, vanishing just before Goldar arrives. We soon learn Rita sent them to Rafkon, the home planet of Zayto, the Dino Fury Red Ranger, and other members of that team. The Rangers have now been on Rafkon for four years, and have become even stronger fighters during their time there.

Things get really interesting when the Rangers manage to return to Earth. There’s a close call where Bulk nearly doesn’t make it through the portal, but he does. He’s not the only one who travels through, though – a Rakonian named Zato comes with him, and they both end up at the Rangers’ headquarters. Considering there aren’t many people named Zaytos, it’s pretty obvious who Zato is connected to.

The episode features a heartwarming reunion between Bulk and Skull after four years, which was particularly meaningful for actor David Yost (who played Billy, but also directed this episode). The scene is a treat for longtime fans, but it also carries extra weight knowing this could be Yost’s final time directing as the character.

Myler described a particularly meaningful scene for his character, Bulk, marking the first time his genuine affection for someone was shown throughout the entire series. He admitted it was an emotional moment for him personally, as he’s been playing the role since he was thirteen years old and the show has had a huge impact on his life. He shared that without Power Rangers, his life would be drastically different, and he might not have met his wife or had the same opportunities to travel with his family.

Myler shared that the past nine years have all been shaped by this character, and they are incredibly thankful for that. Finishing the series – the one that completely transformed their life – and getting to work with Skull again was an especially meaningful experience, more than words can say.

Myler said he knew this could be his final performance as Bulk, and he planned to savor every second of it.

We don’t know yet when the final episode of Power Rangers Ninja Kidz will be released, but we expect to hear more information about the release date soon.
