In my perspective, as I delve into the world of Netflix’s ‘Untamed’, I found myself captivated by the gripping opening episode where a young woman takes a perilous leap from El Capitan. The relentless and tenacious Agent Kyle Turner, portrayed brilliantly by Eric Bana, is on a mission to unravel the truth behind this mysterious incident.
But the closer he gets to the truth, the greater the risk to his own reputation – and life.
Back in 2019, I received a script that immediately caught my interest. Upon reading it, I found myself captivated by its unique blend of genres – a gripping thriller, suspenseful elements, and a murder mystery, all set against an extraordinary backdrop. It was truly a standout piece in my opinion.
To me, the concept of chasing after a mystery-solver who’s traversing cities by foot, car, and so forth, feels quite commonplace. However, visualizing that same scenario unfold in a national park, on horseback, strikes me as far more intriguing and enjoyable to observe… I was instantly captivated.
Bana went on to say that he was “pretty blown away” by the journey Untamed goes on.
He expressed his excitement about the character’s journey, the plot, the unexpected events, and the chance to work with such a talented ensemble of characters and actors, he noted.
Apart from the narrative and environment, the music is another element that could linger in your memory even after the movie has ended.
