Maximum Entertainment and Polychroma Games have announced that the narrative adventure game Until Then will be coming to Xbox Series in 2026. At the same time, the “Afterimages” downloadable content will be released for all platforms.
Until Then was initially released on PlayStation 5 and PC (through Steam) on June 25, 2024, and later became available on Nintendo Switch on June 26, 2025.
Here is an overview of the downloadable content, via Maximum Entertainment:
“Afterimages” delves into themes of grief, memory, and resilience after loss, adding two new chapters to the story. Sofia returns to her hometown to face her past, while Mark connects with both a new romantic interest and a friend from long ago. Both characters grapple with how to rebuild their lives while still feeling the impact of what they’ve lost.
In Until Then, players can look forward to new and engaging moments within the game’s heartfelt story. This downloadable content adds fun activities like tarot readings and baking games, plus more features for the in-game phone – including dating apps and video platforms. You’ll meet up with favorite characters and get to know new ones as you experience two emotional and personal story chapters.
