At present, enthusiasts playing Pokemon Go are eagerly anticipating numerous water-type creatures for the Water Festival event. This lineup even includes the premiere of three region-restricted Tatsugiri, which can only be found during raids. Interestingly, among Staryu, Krabby, and Clamperl, players have reported some uncommon wild appearances. Since evening Eastern Daylight Time on July 15th, Pokemon not typically seen on the Pokemon Go map have been surfacing. While this could be a bug, it also presents trainers with a chance to capture less frequently encountered creatures.
According to expectations, the map for Pokemon Go should currently be teeming with water-type Pokemon. As expected, there are lots of Magikarp and Slowpoke around. Yet, some players are finding more than they bargained for in their Nearby Radar scans. Players have shared instances where they’ve come across evolved forms of Pokemon that don’t usually appear in the wild, such as Coviknight, Meowscarada, and Tinkaton. These seem to be relatively scarce, but one Pokemon that is typically only found during special events is showing up unexpectedly during the Water Festival event.
Why is this dude in the wild ?

Players are finding that Skiddo is showing up in the wild on platforms like Reddit and Pokemon Go Facebook groups. Typically, Skiddo only appears during special events such as the City Safari or Fest in Pokemon Go, so this is quite uncommon. This presents a fantastic chance for players to gather enough Skiddo candy to evolve it into Gogoat. Remarkably, some gamers have even spotted the evolved form of Skiddo appearing on its own in the wild!
Skiddo, Gogoat, And Other Evolved Pokemon Are Spawning in Pokemon Go
During the Water Festival event, Skiddo isn’t one of the Pokémon that appears naturally. This is reasonable since Skiddo is a grass-type goat Pokémon, not a water type. Ordinarily, Skiddo only shows up during special events, leading us to suspect that its appearance might be an error. It could be that the game is testing upcoming events or some other adjustment that has caused Skiddo to briefly appear in the wild. However, when it is highlighted during events, you can encounter and capture Skiddo in the wild without participating in Raids. But remember, this only happens at specific times.
In the usual course of events, Gogoat can be obtained by transforming Skiddo using 50 candies. But as per recent updates, you might strike it rich in Pokemon Go! It appears that Gogoat is currently appearing in the wild, alongside Skiddo and a few other uncommon evolutions.
what is this one (last one i swear)

It’s plausible that these recent appearances of Pokémon could be a deliberate modification in the random pool of spawns. However, considering the inclusion of third-tier evolutions and event-exclusive Pokémon, this scenario appears rather improbable. A glitch or premature release of Pokémon for an upcoming event is more probable. As a result, it’s uncertain how long players will be able to catch Skiddo during the Water Festival event. Nevertheless, it seems that some unusual, rare Pokémon are currently appearing in the game for some trainers.
