The free-to-play game Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt will shut down on April 28, 2026, according to its developer, Sharkmob.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt was first available on PC through Steam in Early Access starting September 7, 2021. It officially launched on both PlayStation 5 and PC on April 27, 2022.
In May 2023, Sharkmob stopped actively developing the game, but decided to keep the online servers running for players.
It’s really sad to say, but after two years of playing, the game’s servers are shutting down in six months. After that, we won’t be able to play anymore, which is a huge bummer!
Here is the full message from Sharkmob:
Dear Bloodhunt Community,
We were thrilled to welcome you to the streets of Prague and hoped you’d have amazing experiences. From the intense rooftop battles to the friendships forged in the midst of it all, Bloodhunt has come alive through your countless unforgettable moments.
We’ve been so grateful for the incredible passion and dedication you’ve shown for Bloodhunt over the last four years. Your feedback, creativity, and enthusiasm have meant everything to us. Unfortunately, even with such an amazing community, the number of players has dropped to a point where we can no longer afford to keep the servers running.
This has led us to make the difficult decision to take Bloodhunt offline.
As the sun rises over Prague, we want to let you know that the Bloodhunt servers will be shut down on April 28, 2026. After that date, the game will no longer be playable.
What happens next?
You’ll be able to continue playing the game until April 28, 2026. After that date, the game servers will shut down, and it won’t be playable on PC or PlayStation 5 anymore.
We’ve stopped selling tokens for now. You can still use any tokens you already have in the in-game store until the game shuts down. After that, any leftover tokens will no longer work.
To comply with data privacy regulations like GDPR, all account information and game progress will be permanently removed once the service is shut down.
Your legal rights remain unchanged. Bloodhunt and its associated services are governed by our Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement, which you can find here.
If you need help with your account, your data, or have any other questions, please contact Sharkmob Support.
We hope you all continue to enjoy your time in Prague and make the most of these last few months together by continuing to play and have fun.
We’re so grateful you joined us on this adventure. We hope you’ll cherish your memories of Prague – its rooftops and hidden streets – just as we will.
