Stassi Schroeder is not asking for parenting advice.
The former star of “Vanderpump Rules” is making every effort to ensure her 4-year-old daughter, Hartford, avoids jet lag during their trip to the U.K., even introducing her to Coca Cola for the first time, disregarding criticisms from internet commentators.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I understand the challenges of jet lag, especially when traveling with kids. On August 9th, I found myself in a situation where giving my little ones their first soda experience seemed like the best solution to help them stay awake and adjust to our new time zone. I’m aware that this decision might not be popular, but for me, prioritizing their health and wellbeing means making tough choices. So, if you have an issue with it, feel free to voice your opinion – I’m open to discussion, but my primary concern is ensuring a smooth transition for my family during our travels.
In an upcoming video, the 37-year-old, who is a mother to a 23-month-old son named Messer, was seen allowing her oldest child to enjoy a glass of soda with delight, accompanied by her husband Beau Clark.
“Drink that up girl,” she wrote over the clip. “No jet lag.”
However, before taking her initial bite, the reality star clarified that this event would not turn into a regular occurrence for Hartford.
I’m letting you know, my dear, that this is a special item that will not be available every time. If you truly cherish it, I recommend using it only during instances when we aim to combat jet lag.
In other words, Hartford had her very first taste of soda, promptly expressing delight with a “yum” and inquiring if she could have it the next day.
And without hesitation, her mom replied with a simple, “No.”
Ever since, the family of four has been generously sharing snippets from their journey, featuring stops like Nicholson’s Pubs in London and The Story Museum in Oxland.
In the end, Stassi has consistently gone out of her way to create cherished moments for her children, regardless if it results in a swollen lip.
In December, as Hartford was passionately singing “Defying Gravity” from Wicked near the Christmas tree, she got carried away with her performance and inadvertently struck her mother in the mouth.
Hartford inquired if everything was alright with you, as seen in an Instagram post’s video. Following this, Stassi looked at Beau (who was recording) and asked, ‘Am I looking that terrible? Is it truly that bad?’
Indeed, it was quite distressing, as the subsequent segment depicted blood trickling from Stassi’s jaw, causing Beau to exclaim, “Oh my goodness!
Hartford then apologetically brought her mom a towel to wipe her lip.
“I’m so sorry,” she said, to which her mom sweetly replied, “It’s okay. It was an accident.”
