Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker are embracing the start of something new.
The former star of “High School Musical”, who gave birth to her first child (a son whose name is yet unknown) in July 2021, announced that she and her husband, married for close to two years, are expanding their family.
In a shared Instagram post on the 12th of July, Vanessa captioned it as ‘Part 2’ accompanied by lovely maternity photos.
In a single image, the actress from Spring Breakers displayed her expanding baby belly in a loose, coordinated ensemble, intentionally leaving the top undone to expose her midriff. Simultaneously, the 29-year-old baseball player humorously prodded her navel while beaming confidently at the camera.
Approximately a year following their secret wedding in Mexico in December 2023, the pair announced some exciting news: they had their first son. Although the 36-year-old generally keeps her child away from public attention, she has since opened up about how becoming a mother has impacted her life.
In a conversation with TopMob News last November, Vanessa shared, “As I grow older, I become increasingly focused on practicality.” She continued, “Given the turbulent nature of life, I aim to minimize additional stress. Consequently, I prefer maintaining a comfortable and uncomplicated environment.
She noted, “It’s all about finding what suits you best on any given day, and being understanding towards yourself since things can vary.
How did the actress from Sucker Punch, who previously dated Austin Butler for about nine years until they separated in early 2020, come across Cole so long ago? It transpired during a collective meditation session via video call during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On February 9th, Vanessa and Cole officially announced their engagement by posting a photo on Instagram, which showed Vanessa wearing an engagement ring. The caption of the post said, “YES!”, expressing their immense joy.
Vanessa playfully suggested running away and getting married to Cole due to difficulties encountered during the wedding preparations. She candidly confessed, “Finding a venue is hard,” on The Drew Barrymore Show. “I guess I just want to elope. I’m overwhelmed; I don’t know what to do.
The couple got married on December 2, 2023, in Tulum, Mexico. Their 100-person ceremony was graced by family and dear friends, among whom were Sarah Hyland and Alexandra Shipp who served as bridesmaids.
