The journey to the 2026 VCT Americas tournament kicks off in São Paulo this October. Nine teams from Brazil, Latin America, and North America will compete for a single spot in next year’s league.
The tournament will be held at the Riot Games Arena in São Paulo from October 14th to 26th, and fans can attend every day to watch in person.
Competing Teams
- Brazil: Stellae Gaming, Team Solid, RED Canids Kalunga
- LATAM: 9z Team, ShindeN, 6Karma
- North America: TSM, ENVY, Winthrop University
Tickets
All the games are happening live in São Paulo. Tickets will be available for purchase through Eventim starting October 2nd at 9 AM Pacific Time. Fans who sign up in advance will get priority access to buy tickets and attend the event.
Tournament Format
The event is split into three stages: Play-In, Swiss Stage, and Playoffs.
Play-In (October 14):
- Third seeds from each region face off in a round-robin.
- Top two advance to the Swiss Stage.
- Matches:
- 11 AM PT – RED Canids vs. 6Karma (Bo3)
- Followed by 6Karma vs. Winthrop University (Bo3)
- Followed by RED Canids vs. Winthrop University (Bo3)
Swiss Stage:
- Same format as Masters 2025.
- Teams need two wins to advance, or two losses to be eliminated.
- All matches are best-of-three.
- Four teams qualify for Playoffs.
Playoffs:
- Four teams in a Double-Elimination bracket.
- All matches are best-of-three, except the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which are best-of-five.
