Vera Wang shows off her age-defying looks in a black mini dress as she celebrates 76th birthday with chic family dinner in Paris

Vera Wang celebrated her 76th birthday last weekend, continuing to display her timeless beauty at her stylish gatherings.

The fashion designer posted pictures on Instagram from her elegant dinner gathering held at Le Relais Plaza in Paris, beautifully adorning a sleek little black dress.

On her birthday, Vera enjoyed a wonderful meal with loved ones before blowing out candles on her relatively small cake. She wrote in the caption that it was another significant celebration.

Vera additionally shared photos of the presents she received from family and friends, such as sweets, Prada household items, caviar, and numerous arrangements of flowers.

The designer often expresses her thoughts openly on the topic of growing older. Earlier, she labeled ageism as outdated, further stating that it’s essential to strive for personal growth in some capacity throughout life.

In a 2022 interview with BBC 100 Women, Vera said her ‘magic elixir’ for staying youthful is work.

Remarkably, she attributes her youthful appearance not only to her diet but also to a combination of vodka, McDonald’s, and donuts.

She shared with Page Six last year that she does indeed consume McDonald’s regularly. Specifically, she orders it almost daily for about two weeks straight, after which she switches to something else.

The designer of wedding dresses also confessed that she takes pleasure in Dunkin’ Donuts, stating: ‘I prefer the ones filled with cream and coated with sugar.’

It’s similar to a jelly-filled doughnut, except it’s filled with vanilla cream instead. I particularly enjoy the one that has a pink frosting and sprinkles on top.

 Apart from her nightly vodka cocktail, though, Wang said she only drinks water. 

She gave up drinking Diet Coke in 2006, which she said was ‘the hardest thing I ever gave up’.

She doesn’t yield on getting enough sleep for her health and appearance. According to Page Six, she ensures she gets at least eight hours of sleep every night, stating emphatically, “I don’t feel healthy unless I get eight.

In a conversation with DailyMail.com, at the age of 73, she expressed her thoughts as follows: ‘As one grows older, I find myself becoming increasingly concerned about potential physical limitations rather than these other issues.’

I prioritize various aspects of my life beyond just my appearance. My passion for my work, friendships, and my daughters fill my life quite fully.
