Vicky McClure plays down Line of Duty return rumours – but hints at new project with Martin Compston

There’s still a lot of talk about whether Line of Duty will return, but while there’s no official news, Vicky McClure has hinted that she and her co-stars might work on something new together in the future.

McClure told TopMob magazine in an interview for next week’s issue that she doesn’t have any news about the future of Line of Duty.

“I don’t want to give anyone any false hope,” she explained. “We’ve all been very clear that we’d absolutely love to do another series.”

She also hinted at a potential new project, mentioning that she, Adrian Dunbar, and Martin Compston have discussed creating a travel show. They’re waiting for a break in their busy schedules to make it happen. She explained that Line of Duty not only boosted their careers but also created a strong friendship between them.
