Victoria Beckham recently opened up about the challenges she and her husband, David Beckham, have experienced throughout their 25 years of marriage. This included addressing allegations made in 2004 by their former nanny, Rebecca Loos, who claimed she had an affair with David.

During her recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on October 22nd, Victoria, 51, shared that she and her husband had faced many challenges. They were reflecting on their 26th wedding anniversary—a milestone many doubted they’d reach.

We’ve been through a lot together, facing every challenge as a team. We’ve always stuck it out, weathering every difficult situation side-by-side.

In the 2023 documentary series Beckham, David spoke about this difficult time in their relationship.

Honestly, I’m not sure how we made it through that tough time. Victoria means the world to me, and seeing her in pain was incredibly hard. But we’re strong people, and we knew we had to support each other and protect our family. Our relationship was worth all the effort.

Rebecca explained her decision to reveal the alleged affair—which David denies—by saying she wanted to control the narrative. She wasn’t seeking revenge, but felt it was important to expose what she considered his unfair and deceitful behavior, and the double life he was leading.

But when it comes to Victoria and David, they’ve long learned to navigate the noise.

In a 2018 interview with British Vogue, she explained that she and David had become accustomed to dealing with false rumors about their relationship. ‘For 20 years, people have been inventing stories about us,’ she said, ‘so we’ve learned to disregard the silly gossip and simply live our lives.’
