The model caused a stir at Paris Fashion Week on January 23rd, and his mother, Victoria Beckham, clearly approves of his confident style.
I recently spotted Romeo, looking incredibly stylish, walking the runway for Willy Chavarria’s Eterno presentation. The vibe was all about effortless streetwear – he paired a simple white top with a cool leather jacket, black sunglasses, relaxed-fit jeans, and statement snake print boots. It was a really strong look, perfectly capturing that modern, easy aesthetic.
Victoria Beckham, known from the Spice Girls, showed her son Romeo support after his first fashion show of the year. She commented, “Proud of you @romeobeckham.” Victoria and her husband, David Beckham, also share three other children: Brooklyn, 26, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.
Adding to the family’s positive reaction, Cruz agreed and shared a GIF of Matthew McConaughey saying, “That’s my brother right there.”
David and Victoria Beckham recently praised their son Romeo, shortly after their eldest son, Brooklyn, publicly shared details about a family rift. Brooklyn revealed he and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, 31, have been distant from his parents in a frank and critical statement.
In a series of posts on Instagram on January 19th, he explained that he’d been quiet for years, intentionally keeping his personal life private. However, he felt forced to speak out because his parents and their representatives kept sharing information with the media. He stated he needed to correct some false stories and make it clear he has no desire to repair his relationship with his family.
He continued, “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen firsthand how family dynamics can impact relationships, and it sounds like things are particularly challenging for David and Nicola Peltz Beckham right now. He’s recently shared that he feels his parents have always shaped the story of their family, and that this has unfortunately caused issues in his relationship with Nicola, even extending to their wedding last year. We reached out to the Beckhams’ team for a statement, but haven’t received one yet.

While not required, many people expected Nicola Peltz Beckham to wear a wedding dress designed by her future mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, when she married Brooklyn Beckham in April 2022. The wedding took place at the Peltz family estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

“Seeing my son so happy is incredibly rewarding,” she shared on TODAY that October. “You can’t ask for anything more than that.”
Tom Cruise and all four of the Spice Girls attended Victoria Beckham’s lavish 50th birthday party on April 20, 2024, though her daughter-in-law was unable to make it.
Nicola shared on Instagram that she was visiting her grandmother, who sadly passed away less than a month afterward.
Nicola couldn’t make it to Victoria Beckham’s birthday party, so she shared a message on Instagram saying, “Happy birthday to my beautiful mother-in-law! I’m so sad I can’t be there to celebrate with you and give you a hug. Sending you all my love from me and my nanny. I miss everyone so much!” She had also previously wished Victoria a happy birthday on April 17th, posting a picture of them together and writing, “I love you so much and love being your dance partner forever.”
Naunni’s death deeply affected Nicola, and many others shared their grief. Brooklyn posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, expressing disbelief that a year had passed since Naunni’s passing. They remembered Naunni’s joyful spirit and ability to bring laughter, and shared how much they missed and loved her. Brooklyn also expressed sadness that their future children wouldn’t have the chance to know Naunni, describing her as a unique and irreplaceable person who was missed every day.

In a recent post, Brooklyn accused his parents of manipulating the media to control the family’s public image. He also claimed they prioritize the “Beckham brand” over their family and have actively tried to sabotage his relationship with Nicola.
He mentioned struggling with anxiety during his childhood, but says he now feels peaceful and relieved after creating distance from his family.
