Just like many teenagers, Harper enjoys filming TikTok dances, currently to the song “Le Freak” by Chic. The cameras capture a cute exchange as she directs her mom, and a funny, relatable moment when Victoria tries a move that doesn’t match Harper’s idea of how it should look.

“Just do something unexpected!” Harper tells her mom. Victoria playfully asks, “Are you going to use a filter on me?”

Whatever her daughter chose was fine with her mom, since Harper doesn’t have any public social media profiles yet.

Her parents share family photos on Instagram, though their oldest son, Brooklyn, who is now married, doesn’t appear in them as often. Harper often shows up in videos on Victoria’s TikTok account.

In the 2025 Netflix documentary *Victoria Beckham*, she described her family as “amazing,” but admitted she felt isolated and things had become stagnant. She recalled wondering if anyone would ever ask her to travel for a photoshoot again, and feeling lost about her future.

David, who figured his wife could use rest, soon realized that what she really needed was purpose.

He admitted that while his own life remained consistent – he kept working and doing what he enjoyed – things changed significantly for her, and he didn’t fully understand how difficult that was for her at the time.

It really shook my confidence and made me dislike who I was becoming. I became so consumed by it that I lost touch with reality and became overly critical of myself. I didn’t recognize the person I saw in the mirror. People have called me everything from ‘Porky Posh’ to ‘Skinny Posh’.

Being too thin was considered just as much of a problem as being overweight, and Victoria felt powerless to stop the constant commentary on her body. This led her to take extreme and unhealthy measures to control her weight. She admitted that living with an eating disorder meant becoming skilled at deception, and she kept it hidden from her parents and the public. The constant criticism about her appearance deeply affected her self-worth, something she says she’s struggled with throughout her life.

In the documentary, Victoria revealed she deliberately sought media attention to remain relevant after her family relocated to Spain in 2003 following David’s move to Real Madrid.

David recalled that when he and his wife first met in 1997, she was significantly wealthier than he was, even purchasing their Hertfordshire home, famously known as ‘Beckingham Palace.’ Because of this, he understood how difficult it was for her to ask him for financial help.

He shared that a portion of their conversation was deeply upsetting, explaining that Victoria is a very proud person. He also admitted it was a difficult moment for both of them, as he couldn’t afford to continue supporting things at that time.

David Belhassen, of Neo Investment Partners, initially didn’t want to invest in Victoria’s business. His firm later purchased a third of the company in 2017 and played a key role in its financial recovery.

He described the situation as a complete failure, explaining that the venture never turned a profit. He added that he’d rarely encountered a problem so difficult to resolve.

Belhassen explained that he had a change of heart after praising his wife’s outfit one evening and discovering she was wearing Victoria Beckham – and that she was a big fan of the designer.

He explained that before he could help, he needed to know if she could truly accept the situation. For a long time, people had only told her what she wanted to believe, and he needed to see if she could face reality.

According to Belhassen, the company was wasting money – around $70,000 annually on office plants, plus another $15,000 to pay someone to water them.

Victoria admitted in the doc that her “entertainment background” led to overindulging.

Looking back, the amount of waste was shocking,” she explained. “I remember having fifteen different linings for jackets…and incredibly wasteful practices, like shipping chairs from across the globe. Hearing about it now, I’m appalled that I let it happen. I think a big part of the issue was that people were too afraid to disagree with me.
