Vin Diesel Reveals New Title for ‘Fast and Furious 11’

However, despite this setback with the studio, it appears the filmmakers are moving forward with the project. They’ve announced that a script is finished and a title has been chosen, suggesting the movie is still planned despite the delays.

What started as a crew stealing DVD players has evolved into the Fast & Furious family repeatedly saving the world – this is their eleventh adventure! Released in 2023, Fast X introduces their most dangerous and personal enemy yet: Dante, played by Jason Momoa. Driven by revenge, Dante proves to be a formidable opponent for Dom and his team.

Look, I’m a huge Fast & Furious fan, and while the critics were kind of split on Fast X, most of us fans really enjoyed it! The studio clearly believed in the series, ending the movie on a huge cliffhanger. But even though it made over $700 million worldwide, the movie was surprisingly expensive to make, which put the future of Fast 11 – the second part of this story – in question. Thankfully, Vin Diesel just announced that it’s still happening, so we’re back on track!

Vin Diesel used Instagram to give fans a peek at his upcoming movies, including what’s next for the character Riddick. He shared the first look at the script for the next Fast & Furious movie, which appears to be called Fast Forever. Diesel is working again with Fast X writer Zach Dean on the script, and Aaron Rabin, who has worked on Nobody 2 and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, has also contributed revisions.

Vin Diesel recounted a conversation with the studio about the final ‘Fast and Furious’ movie. They asked if it could be released in April 2027, and he agreed, but only if three things happened. He wanted the story to return to Los Angeles, focus again on cars and street racing, and most importantly, reunite his character, Dom, with Brian O’Conner.
