Developers KUKRGAME, in collaboration with publisher Infinite, have unveiled the upcoming survival horror game titled “Dread Meridian”, set to be compatible with SteamVR, Oculus Quest 2, and Oculus Quest 3. At this time, an official release date remains undisclosed.
Here is an overview of the game, via Level Infinite:
About
In “Dread Meridian,” I’ve found myself immersed in an icy, spine-tingling journey that feels like a survival horror game made just for virtual reality. This chilling adventure unfolds on the isolated island of Oglanbyen, where my mission is to uncover a frozen wasteland filled with nightmarish discoveries.
Experience a chilling journey as Daniella, a tenacious researcher, who ventures to a secluded island where she embarks on a harrowing quest to find her long-lost twin sister. This adventure will plunge you into encounters with eerie creatures, enigmatic riddles, and oppressive atmospheres. In this immersive experience, combat is intense and offers a blend of VR action and strategic choices. Players will have the liberty to decide how to effectively use their scarce resources and customizable weaponry. When ammunition runs low, rely on your reliable knife to fight until the very end.
Key Features
- Terrifying Monstrosities Await – Test your wits against the twisted creatures that stalk the lands. Planning is key to survival on the lost island.
- Explore Treacherous Environments – Immerse yourself in the dread-filled Oglanbyen, where you never know what could be around the next corner.
