VMAs: Nikki Glaser’s Prediction for Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding

Since discovering that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged, this self-proclaimed Swiftie has been brainstorming some ideas about how magical Taylor Swift’s wedding could be.

Nikki shared with TopMob News during an exclusive interview on September 7, 2025, at the MTV Video Music Awards that she believes it will be a major event. She emphasized that it must be, as everything seems to be building up towards this point. The awards were hosted by LL Cool J at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

Yet, it’s plausible that the comedian might not find a large wedding unexpected, given his perspective.

Every day feels like a wedding for her, as if it’s her birthday daily,” Nikki clarified. “I often feel that I don’t desire a traditional wedding because the constant attention makes me uncomfortable and I prefer not to have it.

No matter the scale of the event, the Golden Globes host understands that Taylor’s thoughts are primarily centered around those who are dearest to her.

She’s eager to rejoice with everyone in her large circle of family and friends,” she went on. “I can’t wait to see how the helicopter shots, perhaps taking flight overhead, might somehow dampen her celebration.

Nikki added, “I hope it’s just a private, lovely day for her. She deserves it.”

The 41-year-old is glad to notice that the joyful feeling is becoming more widespread in popular culture.

Nikki commented that everyone seems genuinely thrilled for them. Such unanimous support is not common in celebrity news. Every Swiftie girl I know, whether male or female, feels as if their close friend just got engaged. Even when our own friends get engaged, there’s often a hint of jealousy, but not this time.

She added, “There’s no snarkiness about this. We’re all just like, ‘Love is real.’ It’s so cute.”
