VMAs: Why Alix Earle Had a “Breakdown” With Braxton Berrios Over DWTS

Alix Earle is learning what it takes to tango.

But with his unwavering support, I’m ready to conquer the ballroom floor!

Alix revealed to TopMob News during an exclusive interview on September 7 at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (hosted by LL Cool J at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY) that she had a moment of distress with Braxton. She confessed, “Braxton, I’m not sure how to be alluring tonight. I’m lost. Could you help guide me?

And the TikToker is grateful for the NFL star, who she started dating in March 2023.

Alix went on saying, ‘He’s incredibly helpful.’ She talks to him via FaceTime daily whenever possible. He’s always there for her, and she does the same for him. With both of them having busy schedules, it’s been wonderful to offer mutual support and catch up with each other.

Plus, he knows a thing or two about how to deal with her specific injuries.

Alix stated, ‘I wasn’t anticipating the specific areas where I feel pain.’ Currently, her neck is too painful to rest comfortably on a pillow, and her feet are bruised.

Despite the demanding nature of the dancing competition series, which has left Alix drained physically and emotionally, she’s thoroughly enjoying being part of the season 34 cast alongside celebrities such as Hilaria Baldwin, Jen Affleck from “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” and Whitney Leavitt. In fact, she’s having a fantastic time!

She expressed that it feels akin to being at a lively dance retreat. She’s had a blast, her days are filled with joy, and she wakes up each morning eager to return, brimming with anticipation to discover more.

She mentioned, “I’ve been improving a bit every day, which is fantastic as it indicates some progress. To be honest, on the first day, I doubted my abilities, thinking ‘Oh dear, I’m not sure if I can handle this.’ However, it’s been truly wonderful so far.
