Volcano Bay Nights Returns This Fall at Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Orlando Resort has revealed that Volcano Bay Nights will make a comeback, an exclusive evening event happening at their Volcano Bay water park. This special occasion takes place every Friday from September 5th to October 31st, 2025, and offers attendees access to certain rides, dining and drink options, as well as live performances.

Starting at 4:00 p.m., early access is granted, followed by an exclusive schedule of events from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Ticket price is set at $105.44 per person (inclusive of tax), which also covers standard self-parking. If you’re an annual or seasonal passholder, don’t forget to bring your valid ID and pass for a 10% discount.

The gathering offers attendees expedited access to several popular water rides at Volcano Bay, including the Ko’okiri Body Plunge – a thrilling 125-foot slide, Krakatau Aqua Coaster – an exhilarating journey through the park’s central volcano, and TeAwa the Fearless River – a swift-flowing river attraction requiring life jackets. These rides are among the busiest during regular hours, but the anticipated smaller crowd should lead to shorter queues.

Apart from water activities, this event also offers entertainment and character meet-ups. At Waturi Beach, you’ll find an exciting “beach party” led by a DJ, filled with music and dazzling visual effects for the entire night.

Visitors will have a chance to encounter Scooby-Doo and other beloved characters straight out of the iconic cartoon series during this event. Some of the characters you might come across include Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Fred, and Daphne. Don’t forget to snap some photos with the villains like the Ghost Clown! To complete the theme, the Mystery Machine van will be there for all to see and enjoy.

Food and Drinks

At the admission, various complimentary food and drink options will be provided to guests. These include churro bites served with either chocolate or mango dipping sauces, plus pineapple and coconut flavored popcorn. Each visitor also gets a Volcano Bay-branded Coca-Cola Freestyle souvenir cup, which allows for unlimited refills during the event. The Freestyle system offers over 100 beverage choices to enjoy.

Some items are free, while our regular dining spots in the park – such as Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club, Dancing Dragons Boat Bar, Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona, Whakawaiwai Eats, Kunuku Boat Bar, and The Feasting Frog – will continue to operate. These venues serve a variety of options, including salads, dishes with tropical flavors, non-alcoholic drinks, and alcoholic beverages.

Getting Your Ticket

For each event date, seating capacity is restricted, and tickets need to be bought independently from daytime access to Volcano Bay or other Universal Orlando parks. You can secure reservations online or through authorized Universal Orlando ticket vendors. The availability of events may fluctuate based on demand for attendance and weather circumstances for different dates.
