Splitgate developer 1047 Games revealed its next game, and it’s a departure from their previous work.
Empulse is a new multiplayer shooter that draws heavily from the popular Titanfall games.
The cinematic announcement trailer below gets the message across:
The game will be a fast-paced, first-person shooter where you’ll move using parkour and a grappling hook. Plus, players will get to pilot giant mech suits!
We haven’t seen actual gameplay yet, but the trailer confirms it will be revealed on June 7th at the PC Gaming Show.
Since we likely won’t get another Titanfall game, this could be a fun alternative, but its success will really depend on how well it actually plays.
