The exhilarating new thriller by Sky titled “The Iris Affair” is set to arrive soon. However, fortunate readers of TopMob will get a head start – enjoying an exclusive, complimentary preview screening!
On October 6th, 2025, we’ll be hosting a special event at London’s Barbican Centre in collaboration with Sky. This event will feature an early sneak peek of the first two episodes of The Iris Affair before their official release. Following the screening, there will be an exclusive Q&A session with stars Niamh Algar and Tom Hollander, along with series creator Neil Cross, who is renowned for his work on Luther and The Mosquito Coast.
If you’re curious about what sparked Cross’s newest venture and would like to grill the cast on upcoming events, you can do so by reserving your spot through tickets that are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets are available now – with a maximum of two per person.
The play features Algar assuming the character of Iris, an exceptionally intelligent individual who deciphers complex internet riddles, unknowingly unearthing a perilous truth that places her very existence at risk.
Stepping into the cinematic realm, I found myself ensnared in the captivating orbit of charismatic tycoon Cameron Beck, portrayed masterfully by Hollander. A thrilling odyssey through the picturesque landscapes of Italy unfolded as a heart-pounding game of cat and mouse commenced, with me at the center.

As a fast-paced, sunlight-filled mystery, The Iris Affair delivers multiple surprises, suspense, and nail-biting excitement when it debuts on Sky and NOW TV this fall.
So why not get ahead of the crowd and watch it before everyone else?
As a dedicated movie enthusiast, back in May of 2024, I found myself thrilled by the initial announcement of an upcoming show that went by the working title Iris. In my excitement, I couldn’t help but share that this project, dreamt up by the brilliant writer and creator Cross, was something I genuinely yearned to immerse myself in. His words resonated with me deeply when he expressed his desire to create a show that he himself would want to watch – a testament to his passion and dedication to delivering quality entertainment.
Iris is an exhilarating, humorous, action-packed television series that introduces a unique lead character unlike any we’ve seen before.
I am thrilled to introduce you to the world and characters brought to life by the talented actors Niamh Algar and Tom Hollander, under the skillful direction of Terry McDonough. I can’t wait to unveil it all!
