CBS has announced its schedule of returning shows for the 2026-27 season. Several popular series will be back, but two shows have been canceled: the Sherlock Holmes spin-off Watson and the comedy DMV. These cancellations followed earlier renewal announcements and came as CBS added new programs like the dramedy Einstein, the legal drama Cupertino, and a spin-off of Yellowstone called Marshals, which was quickly renewed for a second season.
After two seasons, the show Watson has been cancelled, with its last episode airing on May 3rd. DMV will also end its run after just one season, concluding on May 11th, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Both shows were cancelled due to falling ratings and couldn’t compete with more popular programs. The network’s 2026-27 schedule already includes returning hits like Tracker, Matlock, and the FBI spin-off, CIA.
