Okay, so everyone’s losing their minds over this game, PickMon. Honestly, it feels super similar to Palworld, which already got a ton of flak for basically being a Pokémon clone. It’s kinda crazy how quickly it blew up, but here we are!

Dev PocketGame is celebrating a major win, having reached over 25 million impressions across various online platforms. The game’s official YouTube trailer has already garnered more than 50,000 views, marking a significant achievement for this independent project.

We previously announced that this game is coming to PS5, and the developers are currently working to incorporate all player feedback.

It’s still uncertain if legal challenges will prevent this from reaching Sony.

The game Palworld is currently facing legal challenges from Nintendo, and now another similar game, PickMon, is planned for release on PlayStation 5, potentially putting Palworld in a similar position.

This game clearly draws inspiration from Pokémon’s creature designs, but combines that with survival elements and a touch of style from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Similar to Palworld, this game is an open-world survival adventure where you’ll capture creatures called PickMon and train them to help you explore and battle in a large, countryside setting.

We’re still unsure if this game will ever be released, but you can add it to your Steam wishlist now. The developer also plans to bring it to PlayStation in the future.
