I’m hearing a lot of excitement about the possibility of seeing Cousin Itt finally make an appearance next season, and honestly, I’m right there with them – that would be amazing!

Many fans believe a Cousin Itt character would be a great fit for the third season of Wednesday. One of the show’s actors has hinted at who they think should play the role, and suggests it’s a possibility!

Netflix recently hosted an event to promote its shows to awards voters. During an interview with Variety, Catherine Zeta-Jones revealed who she’d like to see play Cousin Itt if Wednesday were to cast the character: Danny DeVito.

Catherine Zeta-Jones expressed surprise that Danny DeVito hadn’t been cast in the show “Wednesday.” She mentioned jokingly asking him why he wasn’t in it when they celebrated their birthdays together in September.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband, Michael Douglas (known for his role in Ant-Man), both celebrate their birthdays on September 25th. Because Danny DeVito and Michael Douglas are longtime friends, it was natural for DeVito to be part of the couple’s celebration. It seems Catherine Zeta-Jones also felt DeVito would be a perfect fit for the cast of Wednesday.

“Imagine Danny DeVito as Cousin It?” Zeta-Jones added. “That’d be so cool.”
