What Else is Coming on February 26th?
Season 2 of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is returning for its midseason premiere. This sequel to Young Sheldon – itself a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory – follows Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) as they build a life and family in Texas, dealing with the ups and downs of marriage and parenthood. The first season was well-received by critics, earning an 89% rating, with one reviewer praising the chemistry between the leads and noting a playfully sarcastic dynamic.
I’m so excited for the new season of Ghosts! It’s the fifth season, and I absolutely loved the original British show, so I had high hopes for the American version. The premise is just brilliant: a couple, Samantha and Jay, decide to renovate this huge, old estate they inherited and turn it into a bed and breakfast. Of course, they quickly find out it’s haunted! But not by scary ghosts, but by a hilarious bunch of spirits – everything from a singer from the Prohibition era to a hippie from the ’60s and even an overly enthusiastic ’80s scout leader. It’s such a clever and funny show, and critics seem to agree – it has a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes! Joel Keller from Decider even said the pilot episode was one of the best he’s ever seen, and that it really set the tone for a great series. I can’t wait to see what happens!
