Danielle Bernstein is fashioning a new chapter.

Aimee Song, the founder of WeWoreWhat, revealed she and her fiancé, Cooper Weisman, have ended their engagement. The split happened six months after they announced they were engaged and three months after celebrating with loved ones at their engagement party in New York City.

Danielle recently shared on Instagram that she and her partner are separating. She explained she hadn’t discussed her personal life publicly before, but wanted to let everyone know they’re ending their relationship with kindness and mutual respect.

The 33-year-old explained the breakup wasn’t caused by any major issue, stating, “Sometimes people just aren’t meant to be together long-term.”

She admitted she didn’t know what the future would bring, but emphasized that making this decision required a lot of bravery. She then asked for privacy and understanding for both herself and the other person involved, and expressed her gratitude for the support she’d received.

Danielle and Cooper publicly confirmed they were dating in November 2023, just after a month of getting to know each other. Cooper works as a director of tenant representation in New York City.

I was so thrilled to hear that Cooper proposed to her! It happened in June, and it sounded absolutely magical – a rooftop setting, surrounded by white flower petals and candles. It was the perfect romantic proposal, and I couldn’t be happier for them both.

Danielle shared on Instagram that getting proposed to was a lifelong dream come true. She described the moment – which happened on the roof of their new home – as even better than she imagined, perfectly imperfect. She excitedly explained that the man she’d always dreamed of proposed!

The designer playfully said she was so shocked when her partner proposed, she almost didn’t believe it was real. She shared that her heart was overflowing with joy and she was completely stunned – from the perfect timing to the beautiful ring. She excitedly exclaimed that he’d done a fantastic job!

She continued, saying she’d never been so certain about a choice. Accepting felt completely natural – it was the simplest decision she’d ever had to make.

Danielle and her partner celebrated their engagement with a lavish party on October 18th, a date that also marked their two-year anniversary.

She described feeling overjoyed after a wonderful evening celebrating her relationship, sharing photos of a party that was even better than she’d hoped for.
