It seems even the most esteemed of traders can have an off day, and this particular whale’s tale is a cautionary one. A whopping $15.5 million was lost on a series of ill-fated bets with the TRUMP memecoin. 
Those who have been following the TRUMP (TRUMP) memecoin saga will recall its meteoric rise after the esteemed Donald Trump himself deigned to mention it on Truth Social. 
Alas, like many a fleeting dream, its value has since crashed and burned, leaving a trail of disappointed whales in its wake. 
This whale sold 743,947 $TRUMP ($7.92M) at $10.66 five hours ago—taking another $3.3M loss on $TRUMP!
He only profited on his first $TRUMP trade. The next three were all losses, bringing his total loss to $15.7M.

According to the inimitable Lookonchain, this particular whale’s misadventures began with a modest profit of $11.82 million on their first TRUMP trade. Alas, the next three trades were nothing short of a catastrophe, with losses of $24.35 million and $201,000 respectively. 
This whale made $11.82M on his first $TRUMP trade, lost $24.35M on the second, and took another $201K loss on the third!
Now, he’s back—spending $11.28M to buy 777,684 $TRUMP at $14.50.

As the TRUMP memecoin’s value continues to plummet, one can’t help but wonder: will this whale’s luck change? 
Will they somehow manage to turn a profit on this ill-fated investment? Only time will tell, but for now, it seems they are stuck in a never-ending cycle of losses. 
The TRUMP memecoin, which once reached a dizzying high of $73.43, is now trading at a paltry $10.38, down a whopping 86% from its all-time high. 
It seems even the most ardent supporters of the memecoin have been left reeling in its wake.
