After a successful funding drive on Kickstarter, Tiny Roar announced that their new game, Lou’s Lagoon, will also be released on PlayStation 5.
At first glance, the game feels like a blend of classic PlayStation 2 platformers – think Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank – combined with the relaxing gameplay of modern life simulation games.
You’ll see what we mean in the trailer below:
Now that your uncle has mysteriously disappeared, you’re responsible for rebuilding the Limbo islands after a terrible storm.
This game focuses on exploration, letting you freely discover every part of each island. You’ll do a lot of running around, and there are different ways to get around, but the main way you’ll travel is by plane. You can fly anywhere and even complete challenges while in the air.
The game seems to focus on rebuilding islands and helping the people who live there. As you play, you’ll also be able to personalize your character and plane, and create your own home base to use throughout the adventure.
There’s a definite appeal to Lou’s Lagoon, with its interesting mix of features. It’s scheduled to release on PS5 later this year and looks promising.
You can now add it to your wishlist on the PlayStation Store! Let us know if you’re excited about it by leaving a comment below.
