What Sterling K. Brown’s Wife Really Thinks of NSFW Paradise Scenes

Ryan Michelle Bathe is grateful that the world is seeing more of her husband Sterling K. Brown.

At the 2026 Golden Globes, hosted by Nikki Glaser at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on January 11th, the actor from Paradise shared what the Boston Legal actress actually thought about his nude scene in the Hulu series.

As Sterling explained to Justin Sylvester and Ryan during a joint interview on Live from TopMob: Golden Globes 2026, his philosophy is, ‘Everyone should be able to enjoy success.’ He added that he and his team want to share their accomplishments with the world, but primarily through television.

The This Is Us actor, who was up for Best Male Performance in a Television Series – Drama at the awards show alongside Adam Scott (Severance), Diego Luna (Andor), Gary Oldman (Slow Horses), Mark Ruffalo (Task), and Noah Wyle (The Pitt), joked, “It’s the Golden Globes, so I wanted to have two Golden Globes visible on Hulu from behind. We call them ‘rear globes.’”

Will Ryan follow her husband’s lead and take on a similar role when they both appear in season two of Paradise?

I smiled so much while filming season two of Paradise,” she said. “I just wanted to share that.

It wasn’t just Sterling’s physique that caught people’s attention recently. At the 2025 Emmy Awards in September, he worried fans when he arrived on stage using a scooter, with his left leg visibly injured.

However, he explained that his injured ankle is on the up-and-up.

You know, my recovery is really progressing nicely. Honestly, each day feels like a step forward. I’m back to doing so many things I love – I can walk, swim, even bike – which is amazing. Running is still a bit of a challenge, but I’m confident I’ll get there!
