What time is Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 on Netflix?

As a seasoned movie buff with over three decades of martial arts cinema under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 is not to be missed! Having grown up with The Karate Kid and its subsequent spin-offs, it’s fascinating to witness the evolving dynamics between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence.

The hit series “Cobra Kai” is wrapping up in a theatrical manner, as its last season has been divided into three segments. One of these segments will start streaming on Netflix this coming week.

In simpler terms, the sequel to the classic Karate Kid story follows Daniel LaRusso (played by Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (portrayed by William Zabka), revisiting them in their later years. They’re now passing on martial arts knowledge to a fresh group of students at their combined dojo.

Since adolescence, their long-standing rivalry has ignited on multiple occasions, yet currently, they seem to maintain an uneasy truce or partnership.

From my perspective as a movie enthusiast, their students are still giving it their all in the competition. My own sons, Robby (Tanner Buchanan) and Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), are finding themselves at odds, each striving to become the Sekai Taikai champion. The tension is palpable!

What time is Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 on Netflix?

Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 will be streaming on Netflix from 8am (GMT) on Friday 15th November 2024.

These five episodes continue the story right where Season 6 Part 1 left off in July, and they pave the way for the closing chapter of this series, expected in 2025.

Regarding the scheduled rollout of the final season, co-creator Hayden Schlossberg explained: “Once we opted for a total of 15 episodes, the structure of dividing them into five groups of five became clear to us, as we typically craft our stories in five-episode arcs.

In the first five seasons, events introduced early on in episodes 1 and 2 often culminate in episode 5. After that, the storyline takes a different direction for the remainder of the season. This is because we’re accustomed to crafting our writing around a significant mid-season climax.

He mentioned that they found the concept appealing for viewers as well, since the series consists of five episodes totalling approximately three hours, which makes for a satisfying binge-watching experience. In contrast, 15 episodes in one go would be too overwhelming.

This means that fans will have an enjoyable viewing experience stretching from the present all the way to 2025, ensuring the celebration continues and satisfying their appetite for fresh episodes.

Fans of Cobra Kai may find it hard to part ways with the series following its impressive journey, but the Karate Kid franchise will carry on, as a new chapter titled Karate Kid: Legends is set to debut next year. This fresh tale, taking place in an alternate universe, features the return of Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, who last appeared together in the 2010 reboot.
