I’m so excited for Stranger Things Season 5! It’s been a while – we haven’t had a new season since 2022 – and everyone is really looking forward to it hitting Netflix in 2025. Season 4 was a huge deal, becoming a total internet obsession when the episodes dropped in two parts. It seems like Netflix learned from that success and is doing the same thing with Season 5, releasing it in stages. It’s a bit confusing with the holidays coming up, but I get why they’re spacing things out – it keeps everyone talking about the show!
The fifth season of Stranger Things will be the show’s last, ending the story after nine years. Created by the Duffer Brothers, the series has become incredibly popular and influential, especially after its first season captured the public’s attention. Now, there’s a lot riding on this final season to bring everything to a satisfying conclusion, and Netflix is hoping it will be a big success.

Netflix
Following the popular Netflix and Stranger Things release style, the first four episodes of Season 5, Part 1 will be available all at once on Netflix at 8 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, November 26th. This means fans can watch half of the new season right away during the Thanksgiving holiday. The release will happen globally at the same time – just convert 8 PM ET to your local time to find out when you can start watching. For example, it will be 5 PM Pacific, 6 PM Mountain, 7 PM Central, and 1 AM GMT.
When ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5, Parts 2 & 3 Will Be Released

Episodes 5 through 7 will become available on December 25th at 8 PM Eastern Time, with only the finale remaining for the third and final part. The series finale of Stranger Things will be released on New Year’s Eve, allowing viewers to watch the extended conclusion on December 31st at 8 PM. Here’s the complete release schedule:
