Even though Christmas has passed, there’s plenty to look forward to on streaming services this weekend. Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, Paramount+, and Tubi are all adding new movies and shows in the coming days.
Okay, so for me, the weekend really started on Thursday last year, thanks to Netflix! It definitely helped that it was Christmas and most of us had the day off. They started things off with live NFL games, which was awesome – they did that last year too, and it’s become a tradition. Then, to top it all off, they dropped the final episodes of Stranger Things later that night. It was the perfect way to kick off the holiday!
This Friday, Prime Video added the hugely popular film Sinners to its streaming service. Previously available only on HBO Max, Ryan Coogler’s unique vampire movie has been a major talking point and is expected to attract many new viewers to Prime Video.
This weekend, Hulu will start streaming “The Life of Chuck,” a new movie based on a Stephen King story, on Friday. Also, “Despicable Me 4” is now available on Peacock after previously being on Netflix.
