Get ready for season four of Invincible, the popular and action-packed superhero series on Amazon Prime Video! Created by Robert Kirkman, who also made The Walking Dead, the show follows Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), a teenager who gets superpowers from his dad, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). What starts as a typical superhero story quickly becomes much more intense. After his father brutally attacked him and left Earth, Mark has built a new life with his girlfriend, Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs), and is now facing a possible invasion from the Viltrumites – a powerful and dangerous alien race. To make things even more challenging, Mark is half-Viltrumite himself.
There’s a lot happening in Invincible, and as the story gets more intense, Season 4 is shaping up to be the best one so far. It’s received fantastic reviews, earning a 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Let’s discuss when the new episodes will be released.
When Does ‘Invincible’ Season 4 Release on Prime Video?
The fourth season of Invincible will start streaming on Prime Video on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Like many Prime Video shows, the first three episodes will be available immediately, and then one new episode will be released each week after that.
Here are the release dates for all eight episodes of Invincible season 4:

- Episode 2: March 18
- Episode 3: March 18
- Episode 4: March 25
- Episode 5: April 1
- Episode 6: April 8
- Episode 7: April 15
- Episode 8: April 22
Season 4 of Invincible will continue Mark’s battle against the Viltrumites, and also bring back the Guardians of the Globe – a team of heroes similar to the Justice League, who protect Earth. We’ll see Allen the Alien (voiced by Seth Rogen) return, having survived a near-fatal encounter and become even more powerful. The season will also introduce new characters, including one played by Danai Gurira, known from The Walking Dead. As always, Invincible promises a compelling mix of thrilling action and in-depth character stories.
When Invincible first came out in 2021, it quickly gained a following. However, fans had to wait over two years for the second season. The wait continued because Season 2 was released in two parts – four episodes in November 2023 and another four in March 2024. Season 4 is being released in the same way as Season 3, which premiered in February 2025.

Fortunately, Prime Video has invested more in the show since its initial release, and new seasons have been coming out annually. This trend will likely continue, as Season 5 was already confirmed last July. With plans for around eight seasons total, we’re now past the midpoint of the series.
