When is CODMAS 2025? Start date speculation and what to expect

CODMAS is back! Get ready for a bunch of new events, special game modes, maps, and rewards in Black Ops 7’s Endgame, multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

Just like last year’s event, you’ll have a chance to earn special rewards and unlock new weapons. Don’t miss out – these items will be more difficult to get from the Armory later on.

Here is a rundown of the CODMAS event in 2025 and what you can expect from it:

When is CODMAS 2025? Start date speculation

CODMAS 2025 is planned to begin between December 15th and 19th, 2025 – the week leading up to Christmas and the holidays. This timing falls roughly halfway between the launch of Season 1 and the anticipated release of Season 1 Reloaded in January. It’s also the latest the event could realistically happen before Christmas Day the following Thursday.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 5 (CODMAS) launched earlier last year. This year, Black Ops 6 came out about three weeks before Black Ops 7, so a release around mid-December seems likely.

What to expect from CODMAS 2025

CODMAS 2025 will offer special rewards and items you can earn in a couple of ways: through a reward track where you gain XP, or by participating in a gacha-style event where you unlock prizes with tokens or other collectibles.

We don’t have all the details yet, but the official Call of Duty blog will share everything you need to know before the event begins.

A new multiplayer map called Sleighjacked, a holiday-themed version of Hijacked, is coming soon. Plus, enjoy limited-time modes like Holiday Havoc and Snowfight. Zombies fans can look forward to the return of Jingle Hells, along with a new challenge called List Keeper’s Challenge. And for Warzone, there’s the Holiday Rush limited-time mode during the CODMAS event.

The CODMAS event will probably feature one of four weapons – the Sturmwolf 45 SMG, SOKOL-545 LMG, NX Ravager crossbow, or the Hawker HX – while the remaining weapons will likely appear in other events throughout Season 1, following past patterns.

We should know more this week or next week, so be sure to stay tuned for the latest updates.
