When Is Hoppers’ Digital & Streaming Release Date?

Pixar’s latest animated movie, Hoppers, is getting great reviews! It came out in the US on March 6, 2026, and everyone’s wondering when they’ll be able to watch it online. While we don’t have exact dates yet, looking at how Pixar has released films in the past can give us a pretty good idea of when it will be available to stream or download.

When could Hoppers get its digital release date?

Hoppers will first arrive for rent and purchase before it makes its Disney+ debut.

As a big Disney and Pixar fan, I’ve noticed they typically release their Pixar movies for digital download about two months after they hit theaters. So, if that pattern holds, I’m guessing we might see ‘Hoppers’ available digitally around the first week of May – maybe even May 5th, 2026! I’m already marking my calendar!

A film’s success is often tied to how well it does in cinemas. Because ‘Hoppers’ is predicted to perform strongly – as is typical for Pixar movies – it should have a 60-day theatrical release, like ‘Elio’ and ‘Elemental’.

When will Hoppers begin streaming on Disney+?

Based on the release patterns of other Pixar films like Elemental and Elio, ‘Hoppers’ is expected to start streaming on Disney+ approximately 90 days after it hits theaters, likely around the first week of June.

The popular movie Inside Out 2 became available for streaming 103 days after it first hit theaters. If the new film, Hoppers, is a big success, it could be available on June 17, 2026, but June 3, 2026, is also a possibility.

As a film buff, I’m really intrigued by “Hoppers.” It’s got a fantastic cast – Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Kathy Najimy, and Dave Franco, just to name a few! The story centers around Mabel Tanaka, a woman who absolutely loves animals. Things get wild when her mind is transferred into a super-realistic robotic beaver! She uses her new form to talk to animals and ultimately tries to save their home from being destroyed. It sounds like a really unique and heartwarming adventure!

The movie first showed at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on February 23, 2026, and is now available in movie theaters nationwide.
