When is Spotify Wrapped 2025? Latest information on annual music streaming report

Spotify fans, assemble: the company will soon be releasing its special “Wrapped” feature.

Your recap gives you a personalized overview of your listening activity, highlighting your favorite artists, top podcasts, and how your musical tastes have changed over the year.

This popular feature began in 2015 as “Year in Music.” It was renamed “Spotify Wrapped” in 2016 and has since become a massive yearly event and a part of popular culture, even attracting attention from politicians and celebrities.

Miley Cyrus revealed last year that Britney Spears was her most-listened-to artist in 2024. This felt especially meaningful because Cyrus referenced Spears in her 2009 song, ‘Party in the USA,’ with the lyrics: ‘That’s when the DJ dropped my favorite tune/ And a Britney song was on.’

Excited to share your top songs of the year with friends? Here’s a guide to Wrapped, including when you’ll get your personalized recap.
