In the Stalker 2 mission ‘Radio Silence’, you’ll need to help Banzai by finding a signal amplifier. This device is crucial for decoding a dangerous radio signal that almost cost you your life. You’ll have to travel to the Volkhov SAM site to obtain it.

Once you’ve spoken with Banzai and the NK-5 Group, head north to the Volkov SAM site in the Rostok region. Be cautious – the area is dangerous. You’ll encounter radiation zones, fire anomalies that can burn you, and potentially hostile enemies.

You’ll find a damaged building with a staircase leading down below. Take the stairs and turn left into the next room. Watch out for a tripwire connected to a grenade – you’ll need to disarm it first. Once it’s safe, go into the room and flip the switch on the console right inside the entrance.

Return to the room at the foot of the stairs and climb down the ladder. Watch out—a mutant is lurking in the darkness below! Defeat the mutant, then enter the large room and turn left. Go through the sturdy metal door you find there.


Head down the hallway to a big room with a balcony around the edge, then go down to the level below. At the back of the room, you’ll find the signal amplifier – it’s called the AN-UVS North. Once you pick it up, enemies will appear and start speaking.

Skull, the leader, will make you a proposition: you can betray the NK-5 Group for a reward of around 35,000 Coupons. However, if you choose to do so, the quest will end there, and you won’t be able to establish a new base at the Kazkovyi camp in the Burnt Forest.

Ignore Skull and fight his soldiers, defeating them. Then, head back upstairs and outside. Watch out for enemies between you and the exit. Once you’re clear, move away from the SAM site and return to Kazkovyi Camp to continue the quest.
