Paphos, Cyprus

The last two episodes of The Sunshine Murders were filmed on location in Paphos, Cyprus, at the luxurious five-star Asimina Suites Hotel, which is part of the Constantinou Bros Hotels group.

Aristos Diomedous, general manager of Constantinou Bros Hotels, expressed his excitement about hosting the production of ‘The Sunshine Murders’ at their hotel. He noted that collaborations like these are great for showcasing both the hotel itself and Cyprus as a premier location for both filmmaking and vacations.

Stephanie Beacham, Camilla Rutherford, Nina Wadia, Marina Sirtis, Alexander Vlahos, and Nick Moran also appeared in the episodes shot on location in Cyprus, joining the three main cast members.

Larnaca, Cyprus

Besides filming at the hotel, the crew shot scenes in other parts of Cyprus, particularly whenever a ‘murder’ was part of the storyline.

Corcoran shared that the hotel where they were filming, Asimina Suites, had one condition: no characters could die in the story. Because of this, the crew shot scenes near a cliff in Larnaca instead.
