Can Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck‘s friendship survive this?

A star from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives hinted at the current status of her relationship with a fellow cast member, following speculation that their time on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars caused a rift between them.

On the February 17th episode of Ziwe, Whitney shared how close she is to each of her castmates. She said Demi Engemann is her closest friend, followed by Layla Taylor, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, and Taylor Frankie Paul. After that, she listed Miranda McWhorter, Jesse Ngatikaura, and Jen.

The 32-year-old, who reached the semifinals of the dance competition with professional dancer Mark Ballas, clarified that she and Mark remain friendly. She added that she isn’t as close to Jen as she is to others.

However, there are hints of tension between the actors. Whitney mentioned, “There’s a lot going on behind the scenes that we’re still figuring out.”

Jen has been open about her doubts regarding another popular “Momtok” creator joining the cast of Dancing with the Stars.

She explained that she’s been wanting to be on Dancing With the Stars since she first told her partner about it. It’s frustrating because as soon as the opportunity arose, her partner suddenly claimed it was something she’d always wanted to do too, she shared in a confessional on their Hulu show.

The competition was intense as Robert Irwin and Witney Carson vied for the Mirrorball Trophy, which they ultimately won.

As someone who really follows celebrity life, I’ve learned that sometimes, even dream opportunities come with challenges. For my husband and me, being on Dancing With the Stars was a huge goal, and honestly, I just wanted us to enjoy it and keep any off-screen issues separate. We really tried to do that! But, as I shared with TopMob News a while back, it wasn’t always easy, and things occasionally spilled over from our other commitments. We made it to week seven, which was great, but it was definitely a balancing act.

But Whitney didn’t feel like she was dancing on anyone’s toes.

She later mentioned Jen’s comments on the Call Her Daddy podcast, saying, “It’s amazing. I’ve always dreamed of being on that show, and I think anyone can share that dream. I’m really glad we both had the opportunity to be a part of it.”

Whitney appears to be trying to start fresh with Jen, but not all celebrity disagreements are so easily resolved. Here’s more on the topic.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d met, saying Bure once turned down her request for a photo on the red carpet. Soon after, Cameron Bure apologized, admitting she had hurt Siwa’s feelings when she was younger and saying, “I’m so sorry, JoJo!”

Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday movies, she said it wouldn’t, explaining that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.

JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to the entire LGBTQ+ community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art of her band, Hole, for a promotional photo without proper credit. Olivia responded with a message of support, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, thanking Olivia and offering to share the contact information for her favorite florist in London, hinting that she expected a thank-you note in return.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had a public falling out in 2017 after the release date for Fast & Furious 9 was delayed until April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham was announced, set to release in 2019. The next month, Tyrese said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne Johnson was still involved.

Tyrese recently discussed the conflict with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that he still hasn’t spoken directly to Johnson, though they plan to. He did, however, talk to one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not Johnson himself.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were famously feuding for years, and many believed the conflict inspired Taylor’s song “Bad Blood.” The disagreement, which supposedly began over a shared backup dancer and competition during their tours, ended when Katy sent Taylor an olive branch as a peace offering before Taylor’s Reputation Tour began.

Taylor shared in an Instagram video that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.

Okay, so I’ve been a huge fan of Sex and the City forever, and honestly, I was devastated when the third movie fell apart. But then all this drama started swirling about Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker! For years, everyone said they were fine, but when Kim decided she wasn’t doing another movie and started talking about SJP… well, it just felt like things weren’t okay. It really seemed like there was some serious tension brewing, and it broke my heart as a fan because I always loved their dynamic on screen!

During a September 2017 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they had only ever been coworkers, not friends.

She said she was just devastated, explaining that they had talked about it all week. She was really bothered by it because her memory of what happened was completely different.
