
A new season of MasterChef is coming soon, and it will have two fresh faces hosting the show.
Anna Haugh and Grace Dent, who were announced as judges last year, are back for the new season of MasterChef UK. They’ll be evaluating a fresh group of home cooks as they compete for the title of champion.
Haugh and Dent have both appeared on MasterChef before, but this marks the first time they’ll be working together as hosts of the show.

Anna Haugh is a chef, restaurant owner, and appears on television. She started cooking at Presentation Secondary School in Terenure and received formal training at TU Dublin’s School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology.
She started her professional cooking journey at L’Ecrivain in Dublin, learning from Derry Clarke. Later, she relocated to London and gained experience working alongside renowned chefs Philip Howard, Shane Osborn, and Gordon Ramsay.
In 2019, she opened Myrtle Restaurant in Chelsea, which offers contemporary European cuisine with a touch of Irish flavor.
Haugh has been a guest on various TV shows over the years, such as Saturday Kitchen, Morning Live, and Snackmasters.
Haugh is familiar with the MasterChef set, having previously served as a guest judge. She also became a full-time judge on MasterChef: The Professionals in 2022, taking over for Monica Galetti.

Anna Haugh expressed her excitement about joining MasterChef as a new co-host, saying she was happy to return and work with judge Grace Dent.
MasterChef has always been a source of inspiration for home cooks and professionals like myself,” she shared. “I’m really excited to start filming what promises to be an amazing competition.
She recently told RTÉ that she and her partner, Grace, are performing at their best, and she’s thrilled about their successful teamwork.
The important thing isn’t that the candidates are women, but that the most qualified people are hired.
MasterChef returns on Tuesday 21 April at 9pm.
