The popular show full of twists, turns, and hidden identities returns for a fourth season on BBC One.
Okay, let me tell you, “The Traitors” is back and they’re really shaking things up this season! I was genuinely surprised to learn they’re introducing a lone wolf Traitor – someone working completely solo. It’s a bold move that’s sure to add a whole new layer of deception and paranoia to the game, and I, for one, am completely hooked to see how it plays out.
Neither the players in the game nor the viewers watching at home will know each other’s secret identities!
As a huge fan, I always love how Studio Lambert approaches each new season. Mike Cotton, the creative director, explained it perfectly – it’s like a really clever murder mystery! They never fundamentally change what makes the show great, but they’re always adding surprising twists and turns. He also hinted that this season they’re hoping to shake things up and explore some new angles, which I’m really excited about!
Amongst the players taking part is Ellie, who at the time of writing, is a Faithful.

Who is Ellie from The Traitors?

Age: 33
Job: Psychologist
Location: London
Ellie, a 33-year-old psychologist from London, is entering the game with a unique approach. She intends to use her expertise to understand the motivations behind other contestants’ actions and analyze their behavior.
As a big fan of mind games and social deduction, I’m really excited to put my psychology knowledge to work in this game. I’m hoping to be able to play strategically, no matter if I’m secretly working against the group or trying to help them. That means building strong connections with people when it makes sense, but also being able to convincingly lie and hide my true intentions when I need to. It’s all about reading people and playing the role!
She’s going into the game wanting to be the Traitor, but her strategy is to try and get along with everyone while keeping her role a secret, so people don’t jump to conclusions.
Why did Ellie apply for The Traitors?
Ellie is fascinated by the psychological aspects of The Traitors. She loves figuring out what motivates everyone’s actions and understanding why they’re so sure of themselves, even when they’re mistaken.
Because of that situation, Ellie felt compelled to participate and fully immerse herself in understanding what was happening.
