Be aware: This article discusses key events from the latest episode of Emmerdale, which aired on Monday, March 30th, 2026, and is now available to stream on ITVX.
A beloved character on Emmerdale was recently poisoned in an episode that aired on March 30th, and viewers are now trying to figure out who did it.
The ongoing conflict between the Dingle and Tate families led Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) to believe a friendly dinner with Kim Tate (Claire King) could finally bring peace.
Kim agreed to go along with things, but Graham Foster wasn’t sure it was the right decision to have her there.
I was watching Emmerdale and it was a cozy little scene – Sam Dingle was out gathering mushrooms, while Chas was busy baking apple turnovers. Ruby then showed up with what looked like a really nice bottle of wine, which added to the whole domestic vibe.

All seemed to be going well until Kim made a toast, and began choking.
When Kim collapsed, Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) stepped in and she was taken to hospital.

Lydia filled trainee doctor Jacob Sugden in on what happened that day. Meanwhile, Graham and Gabby Thomas heard Kim was unwell and quickly went to her side.
The Dingles gathered at Wishing Well cottage to discuss everything, and Sam questioned Cain about the mushrooms, since Cain was the one who had shown Sam where to find them.
Cain told Sam the mushrooms were okay to eat, but his serious look makes you wonder if he’s telling the truth.
Considering the recent conflict between his family and the Tates, is it possible he attacked Kim as an act of revenge?
Graham had previously suspected the Dingles of trying to harm Kim, and with her life in danger, he promised to find out who was responsible. Who attempted to kill Kim?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1. Stream on ITVX.
