Who is James? Meet The Traitors season 4 contestant and gardener

The popular show The Traitors is returning for a new season, just in time to brighten up the winter months. Twenty-two new contestants will head to a Scottish castle to play a thrilling game of trust and deception.

James is one of the players, and he’s very competitive. He really wanted to be a Traitor.

He enthusiastically stated he wanted to be a Traitor, emphasizing that the show is called ‘The Traitors,’ not ‘The Faithfuls.’

Although James wasn’t chosen as a Traitor on last night’s show, he’s determined to win them over and convince them to let him join their team.

Now that The Traitors is starting, here’s a quick guide to contestant James and everything you need to know about him.

Who is James from The Traitors?

Age: 38

Job: Gardener

Location: Weymouth

James, a 28-year-old gardener from Weymouth, jokingly compares himself to the “bouncy Duracell bunny” because he has ADHD.

Besides gardening, James plays guitar and has performed live music. He believes this experience will help him connect with and motivate his fellow castle residents, keeping everyone’s spirits high.

Why did James apply for The Traitors?

I’ve heard about this poker player, James – everyone calls him “The Librarian.” It’s because he’s amazing at reading other players, just picking up on all their little tells. It’s a really cool nickname, and honestly, pretty accurate from what I understand!

I really enjoy the show, but I only began watching The Traitors in its second season after friends kept encouraging me to. I used to be a keen poker player, and I’ve noticed a lot of parallels, particularly with the Round Table discussions.

I really want to be good at this game – not to show off, but because I believe I can. I’m genuinely enthusiastic about it, and I think that’s what initially attracted me. It’s a unique combination of things – it feels like a mix of the mystery of Midsomer Murders and the strategy of poker.
