A group of twenty-two contestants has arrived at a castle in the Scottish Highlands, hoping to identify the traitors among them and win a prize of £120,000.

The latest season of the popular BBC show introduced an exciting new element: a Secret Traitor, easily identified by a striking red cloak.

Jessie is a cheerful and vibrant contestant hoping to reach the final round. Here’s a look at everything you need to know about her from season 4.

Jessie, a 28-year-old hairstylist from Hull, revealed to the other contestants on the first episode that she has a stammer.

She explained that her stammer prevents her from masking her true self, and it’s ultimately helped her embrace authenticity. ‘I simply can’t hide who I am,’ she said.

I’ve always been struck by her strength. She’s aware that some in her community might judge her – perhaps because of her stammer, or her vibrant hair – but she refuses to let that hold her back. In fact, she’s incredibly direct and isn’t afraid to be tough when she needs to be. It’s really inspiring to see.

I’ve heard Jessie say she’s really competitive, and honestly, it’s a bit scary. She’s admitted she’d even betray someone close to her if she thought it would help her win. It just shows how much she prioritizes being the best, even if it means hurting others.

Why did Jessie apply for The Traitors?

Jessie loves meeting new people and wanted to challenge herself so she applied for the show.

“I know it will test me, which is good and what I need,” she said.
