In the eight-issue comic series that serves as the basis for the upcoming DCU film, Lobo isn’t featured. Rich persuaded King to transform Kara into the tough, unyielding U.S. Marshal character from Charles Portis’ novel True Grit, who accompanies a 14-year-old girl on a vengeance mission for her father’s murder, Lobo, the top galactic bounty hunter, found himself out of work.

As someone who has spent years studying crime and its impact on society, I must say that the individual you’re describing is undeniably a force to be reckoned with.
