When is Look Mum No Computer performing at Eurovision 2026?
I’m so excited! Look Mum No Computer is going to perform at Eurovision! You can catch them during the second semi-final on Thursday, May 14th. It’s going to be amazing!
Sam will perform 13th in the show, following Ukraine’s LELÉKA and preceding Albania’s Alis. Because the UK is one of the Big Five countries, he automatically qualifies for the grand final.
What has Look Mum No Computer said about representing the UK at Eurovision 2026?

Sam expressed his excitement about representing the UK at Eurovision this year, calling the opportunity ‘completely bonkers’ and a dream come true. As a lifelong Eurovision fan, he feels honored to be part of the show’s tradition and is committed to giving his best performance for the UK.
I’ve spent a long time independently developing my ideas, writing music, and handling all aspects of production, while also sharing my creative journey. I’m excited to bring all my energy and imagination to the stage, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience what we’ve made. Hopefully, Eurovision is prepared for something completely new!
What is the UK’s Eurovision 2026 song called?
Look Mum No Computer will be representing the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest with his song “Eins, Zwei, Drei.” He created the song with help from Lasse Midtsian Nymann (NYLAN), Julie ‘Kill J’ Aagaard, and Thomas Stengaard, who also produced it.
This song captures the feeling of breaking free from a dull, everyday job and entering a vibrant world of imagination and opportunity. It blends the sounds of classic Britpop with the electronic vibes of ’80s synthwave.
As a long-time Eurovision fan, I found it really interesting that this year’s UK entry broke a 68-year tradition! Part of the song is actually sung in German, making it the first time we haven’t performed entirely in English since way back when!

The Eurovision Song Contest has received a lot of criticism for letting Israel compete this year, given the current war happening in Gaza.
Several countries are choosing not to participate in the contest this year because the European Broadcasting Union decided against banning Israel from competing.
In December 2025, the EBU held a meeting where members voted to create rules preventing governments or outside groups from unfairly boosting certain songs to sway voting results. However, they did not vote on whether Israel would be allowed to participate.
The EBU announced that most of its members decided another vote on participation wasn’t necessary, and the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest will go ahead as scheduled with extra safety measures.
After that announcement, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Iceland all stated they would not be competing in Eurovision this year.
Ireland’s public broadcaster, RTÉ, has decided not to participate in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, stating that it doesn’t feel right given the tragic loss of life and ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which continues to endanger civilians.
The BBC, the UK broadcaster for the competition, stated it backs the EBU’s decision. According to a BBC statement, this is a matter of upholding the competition’s rules and ensuring inclusivity.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 final will take place on Saturday 16 May 2026.
